Just a quick follow-up note, while I am by an internet node.

I have spent the past several months looking for a piece of sheet music which I could not remember the title of or composer of.

I went through hundreds and hundreds of pieces on my shelves, only to not find it, to my utter amazement.

Finally it is time to get serious.

So, I go one piece at a time methodically and systematically, once again, and again.

Finally, there is another copy of the piece which I had forgotten that I have.

Enough to give me the title and composer.

Mascagni - Intermezzo from Cavalliera Rustica.

While finishing up the Moonlight Sonata (1st movement) I hope to begin working on this piece.

You can hear an incredible rendition of it by von Karajan on Deutsche Grammaphone Records on an album titled"Adagio".

It truly is a remarkable piece.

I think von Karajan would agree, judging by the fact that it took a place of honor on the album which he conducted.

I forgot that I would need special drivers for the MBox (3d generation), because I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit operating system.

Ooops.

I had to come back in from paradise into hell in order to pick up copies of the drivers and bring them back out to the waves and sand and surf.

It is 8:41 a.m. and I must go to Santa Barbara this morning in order to take care of some business at Samy's camera (that sounds expensive).

Must get going.

Any who are interested, check out the piece.

I think you will like it a lot.

I know I sure do.

And I am looking very forward to doing a sampled string rendition, along with --- well --- who knows what?
